Introduction to data-driven management models


This course deals with tools for building decision-making models. It combines three compulsory performance research courses taken by the students: statistics, optimization methods, and stochastic models
The first part of the course deals with multifactor regression and prediction; the second part deals with time series; and the third part deals with using those tools to build time optimization models/optimization models sometimes based on stochastic models
The purpose of all models built in this course is to maximize profit, reduce costs, and increase value for the organization, as is common in business analytics disciplines
The course has 7 assignments, including practical and theoretical parts
