Our varied options for international collaboration 

Guided by our liaise strategy, we are promoting scientific collaborationsby forging dedicated programs as well as by encouraging and supporting our staff and academic faculty to cooperate, participate and initiate international academic activities structured on any of the following options:

  • Joint Research programs

Designed for research authority and faculty who wish to actively participate in international bilateral research and consortiums, both as attendees and coordinators, as well as propos and presenting joint research funding.

  • Faculty exchange

Formed to enable both visiting and local faculty members to collaborate with other professional expertise, explore diverse methodologies, experience new cultures, teach and learn in international partner institutes.

  • RDCI Centers

 A unique R&D, Consulting and Industrial Cooperation mission-oriented model we have developed to serve the needs of scientific, industrial, and business communities in multifarious domain specific fields. Supporting the RDCI model, which combines academic applied research and development with industrial consulting and funding, we have established 8 RDCI centers:

The Afeka Center for Language Processing (ACLP) cultivates solutions for the speech and language processing market. /

The Afeka Center for Antenna Design (ACAD)specializes in antenna design and testing, radio wave propagation and wireless links. /

The Afeka Center for Material and Process Engineering (ACMPE) focuses on materials, process engineering, metallurgy and failure analysis.  /

The Afeka Center for Medical Engineering (ACME) operates in the fields of modeling and simulation, standardization procedures, commercial medical devices approval and clinical trials design and performance. /

The Afeka Center for Energy and Heat Transfer(ACEHT) specializes in heat transfer and energy utilization offering energy efficiency services. /

The Afeka Center for Service Engineering and Management (ACSEM) develops tools and methodologies for service and management systems. /

The Afeka Center for Infrastructure, Transportation and Logistics (ACITRAL) dedicated to infrastructure, smart transportation and logistics solutions. /

The Afeka Center for Data Mining and Decision Making (ACDM2) Offers data-based decision making solutions. /

All RDCI centers bring together cross-disciplinary faculty and industry specialists to explore and solve real world issues and are providing various expert services, including: research and development, consulting, technological due-diligence, prototype development, courses, seminars, workshops and conferences.

Partnering with the RDCI centers is welcome through Afeka's research authority as an academic partner or through its commercial subsidiary "Afeka Yissumim Ltd" as a subcontractor.

  • Knowledge exchange and consultingon Academia-Industry collaboration

Engaging in academia-industry cooperation models this program was conducted by our management team based on the successful RDCI model. The program designed to assist other academic institutes in devising their own Academia-Industry collaboration strategy and implementation model, tailored specifically to their needs and the local industry and academic environment.

  • Engineering Students & Executives Programs

Exclusive tailor made on-campus programs in English for high level professionals and students from outside Israel, which enable them to be more appealing for international businesses that are increasingly seeking graduates who have a global awareness, particularly those who took the initiative to study abroad during their learning and will be able to work in multicultural teams and move easily around the world as part of their career.

Full semester programs of 4 complementary courses for groups of 20 students, which might credited as our full semester undergraduate academic program, based on pre-requisites approval, especially in globally standard software and electrical engineering.

Engineering Executive Short domain Specific Certificate Training Program (2-10 days) jointly developedwith renownedindustry leaders and professionals for experienced engineers and professionals who wish to acquire state-of-the-art tools and methodologies for upgrading their managerial and technical abilities in a professional development programs.

Research assistant positioneligible for visiting students who wish to join Afeka's academic staff in ongoing applied research programs gaining unique experience and knowledge transfer.


Special offer for our partners

Academic, government and municipal institutions are welcome to leverage the complete packages of professional studies, lodging and complementary visits, we have jointly developed with the Tel Aviv municipality.

Each package can be modified to meet the specific needs of heterogeneous or homogeneous groups from all around the world.

Packages and programs costs are subject to structure, duration, requirements, group size and other special demands of each program. As an indication only, a typical price of the full 4 course semester program ranges from $7500 to $15,000 per student in a class of 20 students.
