A Ph. D. degree from the Mechanical Engineering Dept. of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, majoring in Higher Order Finite Element techniques, asymptotic solutions for partial differential equations and numeric methods for elliptical equations in a singular linear environment.

Professional Background

Dr Omer’s professional experience includes the development and design of testing and calibration systems as part of her job at the Applied Materials company, the development of algorithms for image processing during her stint at the Israel Aerospace Industries and 12 years in lecturing, 6 years of which were spent at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev and the other 6 years at the Mechanical Engineering Dept of Afeka College, where she has served at the Head of the Department for two years.
