Intelligent Systems are becoming more and more prevalent in our daily lives and in various fields of business. Smart aids such as: virtual reality interfaces, small sensors that communicate with each other to generate Big Data, and biometric systems and machine learning techniques that are used for business intelligence – are just some examples of how intelligent systems are becoming an inseparable part of any field of business and any profession. The design, operation and interfacing of intelligent systems require knowledge and tools from several fields. For example, modern organizational systems combine information and knowledge system management, sensors and signal analysis, data and text mining, and learning algorithms and technologies
