Curriculum Goals

Upon completing their Masters Degree studies in Energy Engineering Dept. at the Afeka College, the students will have acquired comprehensive, varied and extensive knowledge of skills that will open the way for them to opportunities of continuing their studies to more advanced academic degrees or to take up positions in leading organizations in the industry and to develop a professional career in key positions, such as:

  • Energy Center Managers at large consumers, such as airports, hospitals, IDF camps, ports, industrial factories, research institutes, railway companies, etc.
  •  

  • Engineers and managers in the institutional and public field, where infrastructure and strategy for energy is required, such as: Government ministries, the defense establishment, building commissions and municipal authorities.
  •  

  • Engineers and managers at renewable energy companies: Geothermal, solar, (thermal, photo-voltaic), hydro, wind, wave, OTEC.
  •  

  • Energy system designers at engineering consulting companies, at crude oil and natural gas companies and at generating and transmission companies.
  •  

  • Building and systems designers at construction companies.
  •  

  • Analysts specializing in energy for the capital markets and the banking industry.
