?What is Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering deals with a broad spectrum of fields, including: Communications, signal processing, image and video processing, power, energy, control and computers. As a magnet attracting scientific study already in the 17th century, the world of electricity is developing ceaselessly and rapidly as a means of transmitting energy as well as all the technological aspects referring to electrical systems, or devices that produce electricity for various purposes. Electrical Engineers are involved in the development and design of technology, systems and innovative electronic appliances that directly affect modern society and the global economy, from the design of nano-electronic appliances for miniature processors and up to and including the design of huge electrical supply systems that power cities and countries. The range of innovative products that we see these days, such as robots, voice interface systems for cellular devices, voice surfing the Internet, body movement identification systems – were all developed and designed by Electrical Engineers.
